The work is part of James Rizzi's Classics series, which was created in 1998 and 1999. James Rizzi took works by famous masters and interpreted them in his own way ("rizzified"). In this case, it is the work "La Bohémienne endormie" by Henri Rousseau (1833-1910), which hangs in the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
With the framing offered here, we offer a direct comparison of the Rizzi interpretation to the original work (high-quality art print).
