We live in a time in which we humans are significantly reshaping the earth's surface through our need for raw materials. We are usually not aware of this because such major changes are rarely visible as a whole. However, if we change our perspective and look at the earth from far above, it seems alien, fascinating and vulnerable at the same time. Its abstract shapes, colors and patterns make us marvel - at the things that we humans create there. Benjamin Grant studied history and art history at Yale University. He is the author of ›Overview‹, which is based on the photo blog of the same name. Large-format prints of the Overview images have already been shown in international exhibitions, including in Munich, Tel Aviv, Barcelona and New York.
